Vision Quest Premise, Energies and Activities

"Every experience holds the opportunity for us to grow and evolve - or not - it is our choice!"

You might be thinking, “OK I get that, but how do I realize these opportunities for growth in my own life?” What holds us back when we are at work, in the grocery store, driving our car, at the doctors, dentists or bank, with our family and friends etc. – in other words what holds us back from this when we are simply living our lives?

You probably intellectually understand these principals also:
    - We all deserve and are worthy of being Loved!
    - We all deserve and are worthy of being Happy!
    - We all deserve and are worthy of being Healthy!
    - We all deserve and are worthy of growing and evolving!
    - We all deserve and are worthy of realizing and Being our True-Self!

Our Vision Quest in Nature’s Cathedral is focused on people who, for the most part, understand these principals and concepts. You’ve done the work over the years, made self-improvements through different paths and techniques; your beliefs, habits and behaviors have changed a little or a lot - now you’re ready to go deeper.

Practice is over it is now time to Live!

Our Vision Quest isn’t about listening to lectures or trying to teach anyone anything new. The wisdom is already inside of you. The Vision Quest is designed to help stimulate your remembrance through a balance of experiences that are based on thoughts and actions (Heaven and Earth). Questhaven is an important component of this as it provides the ideal foundation for these experiences.

Questhaven is a 640 acre Nature Cathedral, literally this was the intent of the founders of Questhaven, Flower and Lawrence Newhouse in 1940. Flower was a clairvoyant Christian Mystic, terms you rarely if ever hear today in this combination. She saw things in the unseen world around us such as Angels and nature spirits. She had the inner sight to see into dimensions that are difficult to comprehend. She followed the path of Christian Mysticism that you don’t hear much about because many get lost in traditional beliefs and perceptions. Christian Mysticism is a path of direct, personal experience with the Divine, God, Great Spirit or whatever your concept or term is. At the foundation of this was her belief in finding enlightenment through nature, which is why Questhaven has been created. Friends of ours who can feel and understand energies and write and teach about them, described Questhaven as having some of the purest and powerful energies they had ever experienced. They felt a myriad of powerful vortexes and energetic features on different dimensional levels such as a special labyrinth and others. They felt that Questhaven was a place that would be very supportive of someone who was on a path to accelerated growth and evolvement.

The activities of our Quest (search) for Vision will be experiences focused on opening our awareness of the infinite opportunities and ways we can obtain that which we Quest for. By being open to the unconditional love and pure potential in the universe your Quest (search) for Vision has vast possibilities.

Some activities you might experience:
    • Opening to the unseen helpers all around – I am not alone and have more support than I realized.
    • Mystical Awareness – Communion with the Divine
    • Tools/Practices  we will use in different ways to go deeper into our inner self: some examples will be integrations and combinations of sound, silence, meditation, movement, Labyrinth, Sun and Stars,
    • Creating a connection with Nature that will support you in your personal growth.
    • Sacred ceremonies, yoga, mindfulness and more based on the group energetics as they unfold

We hope this provides you with enough information to make a conscious choice. While all of these words and pictures appeal to that side of us that needs information we would also hope that you tune into that part of you that feels the energy. Our Quest for Vision begins Friday, May 25 at a place called Quest-Haven, a place where “new reality” is an every moment occurrence. We are blessed to call it home and would be honored to have you experience its Love!

 

General Schedule

Please plan to arrive on Friday, May 25 by 5:00pm Pacific Daylight Time if you are staying at Questhaven, if you are staying off site plan on arrivng by 6:00pm. Certainly if you can arrive earlier please do so to have an opportunity to begin to connect with the energies of Questhaven. They will help prepare you for the experience that is about to unfold. We realize that "life and things happen" so if you aren't able to make it by these times don't worry about just let us know; releasing to the Divine guidance of our journey is part of the Vision Quest experience.

We will begin the Vision Quest with a group ceremonial dinner Friday evening at 6:30pm

The Vision Quest will conclude on Monday, May 28 with a group lunch at noon and closing ceremony. You can plan to leave by 1:30pm - 2:00pm.

The Vision Quest has experiences throughout the day beginning at sunrise and concluding in the evening around 8pm. You are responsible for your life and experiences so your participation is always by choice. We would certainly strongly recommend that you participate in every experience, especially those that might bring you out of a comfort zone, like rising early or being out at night. Questhaven is the most magical place we have ever been and the mornings and evenings are the most magical times. There is a hilltop from which we will experience the sun setting in the Pacific - this is spectatcular.

For those that live in the area we realize that sleeping in your own bed each night is a great thing but for these 3 nights if you are able to we would strongly recommend staying at Questhaven. It is difficult to describe what it is like sleeping in such powerful energies after experiencing them all day. At times we can feel the Angels and other unseen helpers working with us during our dreamtime and deep sleep time. 

For those staying at Questhaven for the additional nights your only additional charge will be for your room as we will eat our meals out and any costs we have for transportation and love offering for those organizing and guiding this.
